Decan Compatibility

Read compatibility more finely than sign matching, using both signs and decans (sub-rulers).

Decan compatibility reads the match between two people by their signs and decans (the 10° subdivisions that split each sign into three). On top of sign aspect and elemental relationship, it factors in each decan's sub-ruler (traditional triplicity) resonance, so even couples of the same signs get subtly different results by decan. Pick both signs and decans for a finer compatibility reading.

How it works

Choose both signs and decans, and the base score from the angle between the signs and their elemental match is refined by how the two sub-rulers get along. Two people under the same sign can score differently once decans differ.

What you'll get

You see the match made by the angle and the elements, the score and grade once the sub-rulers are weighed in, and the reading for that pairing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from sign compatibility?

The base score from the angle and elements is adjusted by how the two sub-rulers get along, so even two people of the same signs score differently once decans differ.

We do not know our decans.

Check them first on the Decan page using each birth date, then come back and choose.
